Brew Pass is a membership app for independent coffee in Astoria. Members order ahead in the app, or on the spot when they walk in, and pick up at your counter with a code. The drink is already paid for in the app, so there’s nothing to charge at the register. You set each drink’s quiet-hours price yourself. It’s built for people who aren’t your regulars yet, pointed at the hours you want to fill.

In the app today
Everything on this page is in the app and on the cafe dashboard today. Offer drinks, events, or both: nothing obliges you to do all of it, and you can pause your cafe for a while whenever you need to.
Post anything you host from your dashboard, once or every week, free or with a charge: a cupping, a chess night, a book club. Members RSVP in the app and you see who’s coming and how many seats are left, with seats you can hold for members and check-in at the door.
Members pick a same-day pickup time in the app, or order in the app on the spot when they walk in, and pick up at your counter. Counter orders land on your counter screen right away; order-ahead orders come up shortly before their pickup time. Either way there’s a chime and a pickup code; the member shows the code, you hand over the drink.
Set each drink’s quiet-hours price separately from its busy-hours price, from your dashboard, and change it whenever you like. Whether the two differ, and by how much, is your call.
After a visit the app asks a member which of two cafes was better and builds a ranked list that’s honestly theirs; the same rankings power the app’s taste matching. Members add friends by QR code, link or email, see when a friend is nearby if both opt in, and send coffee invites: a cafe, a time, done.
The counter screen runs on an iPad you already have, next to your register; nothing else to buy. Barista Mode locks it behind a PIN to what the counter needs: orders, check-in for today’s events and stock, nothing from your settings or payouts. Your staff run the counter while you handle menu, events and settings from your phone. On a short-staffed day, switch the cafe to Paused in Settings and no new orders come in.
Your dashboard shows what your cafe is owed so far this month, as it adds up, and every statement once it’s settled. Statements settle each month, after the month closes.
Also in your dashboard: the reviews members leave for your cafe, and a stats page with your busiest hours, top drinks and how often people come back.
